My husband’s favorite wine is Hahn Meritage, for no other reason than…“because it tastes so good to me,” he says. In German, “hahn” means “rooster”, in our home Hahn represents a celebration of Adam. When he was nominated into the Forty Under 40 class of 2009 for businesses rising stars in the Greater Cincinnati area, I immediately headed to the store to buy a bottle of his favorite wine. When he closes a commercial real estate deal, we drink Hahn. When I want him to know how much I love him-I will make his favorite dinner and pair it with a bottle of Hahn. Adam’s uncle Randy keeps Hahn in-stock for our visits to their home. Something very special is taking place in Adam’s life when a bottle of Hahn is uncorked.

Tasting notes from www.hahnfamilywines.com
Hahn Meritage-deep, bold, brooding and complex, this wine has a heightened level of intensity compared to previous vintages. A generous percentage of Petit Verdot and Malbec in the blend add depth and enhance the richness of the wine. Juicy, luscious flavors combined with brisk tannins to make this wine the perfect complement for strong, savory meats and hearty pasta dishes.
